Toile De Jouy - Whitby

This whole project was based around capturing a sense of place, in which I chose Whitby as this is my home town. As this place is so personal to me, I was excited to dive straight into the project and start drawing! I wanted to devlop my drawing style by working the monochome media. As this project will lead to developing a toile de jouy style design I researched a lot in this this style of art to then go on to develop my one version of a toile de joy wallpaper.
